Vallée d'Ossau Cheese Festival
Autumn is a great time to visit the Vallée d'Ossau, particularly the first weekend of October when the local village of Laruns hosts annual 'foire au fromage'. Make the château your home base while you attend the festivities and discover the region.

If you're part of a group centered around a specific interest (hiking, cycling, photography, writing, etc.) and want to organize your own small group retreat or event, get in touch. In addition to offering accommodation and meals, we can help with recommendations for local activities and partners.
Artistic Workshops
Join the amazing Kristine Kriko for an artistic workshop surrounded by the gorgeous mountains of the Vallée d’Ossau. Kristine will guide you through techniques and tips to help you create your own masterpiece to take home with you. A light lunch will be served after the workshop.
